CUIP PhD student won UAlg “Three Minute Thesis” (3MT) competition
Ana Simão was the winner of the “Three Minutes of Thesis (3MT-UAlg)” competition, whose final stage of presenting the 25 applications, from all scientific areas with doctorates at UAlg, selected in the 1st phase, took place on May 11th.
This PhD student in Psychology received a monetary award worth 4 thousand euros.
The winner considered it “very challenging to condense everything into three minutes in simple and accessible language”. When asked about the importance of this competition, she had no doubts about its relevance, as she considers it essential to “bring the public closer to science and academia to the community”.
