Applications are open for the BIPD_1_2025_LISBOA2030-FEDER 0092240014722 research grant under the SignPain project, which aims to enhance pain communication between deaf patients and healthcare professionals through a digital intervention. Applications are open from 17 July to 10 September 2025.

The project is part of CUIP’s scientific activity and is being carried out at the University of Lisbon.

Mandatory admission requirement: hold a doctorate degree in Psychology or a related field and obtained within the three years preceding the application submission date.

Preferential factors/skills:

• Solid knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques/methodologies, with special emphasis on qualitative methodologies
• Experience in collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data using software such as, for example, MAXQDA, SPSS or R
• Publication of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals
• Fluency in English for publication and international collaboration
• Strong autonomy, flexibility, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
