In the FCT’s annual competition for doctoral scholarships (2025), across all scientific areas, 4.169 applications were received for 1.550 grants, corresponding to an overall approval rate of 37%.

In this competition, two CUIP doctoral students obtained a scholarship to pursue their doctorate in Psychology at UAlg:

. Tiago Sobral, with the project entitled “The Positive Force of Techno-Stress in Organizational Reality: The Multiverse of Technologies, from the Perspective of the JD-R Model,” supervised by Joana Santos (UAlg-CUIP) and Sónia Gonçalves;

. João Antunes, with the project entitled “Between Excellence and Perfectionism: A Cognitive Approach to Understanding and Intervening in the Academic Context,” supervised by Cláudia Carmo (UAlg-CUIP) and Saúl de Jesus (UAlg-CUIP).

These students join others who, in previous FCT competitions, received scholarships to pursue a doctorate in Psychology at UAlg.
