The University Center for Research in Psychology (CUIP), through its campus at the University of Madeira (UMa), participated in the “European Researchers’ Night – Macaronight 2025,” held on September 26th at UMa.

Professor Margarida Pocinho, coordinator of CUIP-UMa, attended the “UMa Psychology Research Showcase”, highlighting the importance of evidence-based psychology research for well-being and human development.

Participation was marked by close dialogue with visitors, demonstrating how psychological science contributes to understanding and promoting well-being, strengthening resilience, and responding to current social challenges.

More than just a moment of outreach, this was an opportunity to bring researchers, students, and citizens together, highlighting the relevance of psychology in academic and community contexts.
