CUIP members Karl Petersson and Alexandra Reis were ranked 3rd and 28th, respectively, in the Research.com ranking “Best Psychology Scientists 2026 in Portugal”.
This ranking is based primarily on bibliometric data extracted from leading academic databases, including OpenAlex and CrossRef, supplemented by several other data sources to ensure a more comprehensive dataset. Citation metrics and publication records used to generate the ranking were collected on January 12, 2026. Each scientist’s position in the ranking is determined by their D-index (H-index of the scientific discipline), a refined metric that assesses only articles and citation performance relevant to the scientific field of Psychology, seeking to provide a more accurate measure of their impact within that specific area.
