On May 9th, took place the public presentation of the candidates selected for the 2nd phase of the 3rd edition of the “Three Minutes of Thesis (3MT-UAlg)” competition, with Vivien Iacob, a doctoral student in Psychology at UAlg, receiving an honorable mention.

It is worth remembering that in the 1st edition of this competition the winner was Ana Simão, and in the 2nd edition Fábio Gonçalves obtained second place.

Thus, since the beginning of this competition at UAlg, there has always been recognition of the ability of CUIP doctoral students to communicate science.

Vivien Iacob is supervised by Saúl de Jesus and Cláudia Carmo, and presented the work entitled “Beyond Destination: Mindfulness and Well-being in Tourism”.
