CUIP gets a place for Assistant Researcher in the “FCT-Tenure” Competition
In the 1st edition of the “FCT-Tenure” competition, CUIP gets a place for a Assistant Researcher in Cognitive Psychology.
“FCT-Tenure” is a new FCT financing instrument, through resources from the PRR’s for Science, designed with the aim of promoting the hiring of doctorates for permanent positions, contributing to the professional stabilization of researchers and their lines of research.
In this first edition, only less than half of the positions initially proposed by Universities and R&D Units received funding, and CUIP obtained funding for the only place it had proposed for this competition.
It is also worth noting that, in addition to UAlg, only some of the universities with R&D Units in the field of Psychology classified as “Very Good” or “Excellent” in the last evaluation by the FCT were able to obtain places in Psychology in this “FCT-Tenure” competition.
