In addition to the contracts signed with the Management Units that comprise CUIP, the University of the Azores sought to formalize the establishment of a CUIP Delegation. The Regulations for the CUIP-UAc were created and published on July 21.

This Delegation is coordinated by Full Professor Teresa Medeiros and includes the four integrated members of CUIP who belong to the University of the Azores (Teresa Medeiros, Catarina Mendonça, Suzana Caldeira, and Carlos Coelho), as well as other PhD collaborators from the University of the Azores.
