CUIP Ethical Issues
Ethical issues are indeed crucial at CUIP. We consider that it must be guaranteed that all data collection and processing is carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, the FCT Ethics Self – Assessment Guide, and the Code of Ethics of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (OPP).
CUIP also follow professional organizations’ ethical guidelines, such as those provided by the European Federation of Psychologists Associations (EFPA), to guide its research practices.
These ethical concerns, such as privacy and data protection, are addressed in a document on CUIP’s ethical principles, approved by the CUIP scientific committee.
