CUIP’s external consultant, Gualberto Buela-Casal, appears in the Stanford ranking (“Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists”), which highlights the world’s most influential researchers across various fields of knowledge, taking into account citations in Scopus-indexed journals.

Gualberto has appeared in this annual ranking since its inception in 1996, and, in the 2025 edition, he is the only one from the field of Psychology (including Neuroscience) at the University of Granada to be recognized in this ranking.
